Consolidated Panels & Veneers was proud to be a key supplier of Natural Timber Veneer for the International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney) — one of Australia’s premier architectural landmarks on Darling Harbour.

Our contribution included the supply of Spotted Gum | Quarter Cut Random Mismatch, Natural Timber Veneer for the wall panelling and joinery. This selection provided rich warmth and natural variation, perfectly complementing the building’s contemporary design and concrete finishes. The distinctive character of Spotted Gum brings a timeless Australian aesthetic to the interior spaces, particularly within the feature staircases and lobby areas.

For the Auditorium Ceiling Feature Panels, Hoop Pine | Crown Cut, Natural Timber Veneer was chosen for its lighter tone and elegant grain structure. These veneers not only enhance the visual sophistication of the auditorium but also support its acoustic performance through precision manufacturing and installation.
Through close collaboration with the project’s architects and builders, Consolidated Panels & Veneers delivered a consistent, high-quality timber finish that embodies the ICC Sydney’s design vision — combining sustainability, craftsmanship, and natural beauty.
